Silma 128

(1969)

The Silma 128 was a budget-friendly projector that was only available in super 8. The body is similar to the Silma compact 8 and the Silma 130. Oddly enough, it appeared two years after the Silma 130. You would expect a lower model number to appear before a higher model number but logic was often hard to find at Silma.

The 128 shares some unique aspects such as the packing box, the logo style and the manual style with the Silma 120SL We can safely assume that the 128 was introduced in the same year as the 120SL.

The 128 is always advertised with late Silma models such as the Bivox and the Silma 120SL. This underlines that it is one of the last Silma models as opposed to the Silma 130.
